"Selva De Los Ancestros" (Rainforest of the Ancestors) is a 24/7/365 phygital (physical & digital) project by xBohiti where they have digitally recreated a small part of 'El Yunque' rainforest from their home country of Puerto Rico using real soundscapes and imagery that many Puerto Ricans hold dear to their heart. It is their attempt to help preserve some of the beauty of El Yunque and bring attention to the fact that it is being destroyed for capitalistic reasons and lack of proper land management practices.
El Yunque is one of the smallest rainforests but has some of the most diverse wildlife and plants anywhere in the world and it must be protected. Some of the events held at SDLA will also be raising funds to help preserve El Yunque and the over-all recovery of Puerto Rico

All S.D.L.A. products were grown and made using Regenerative Organic/Permaculture methods free from harmful pesticides, herbicides, GMO's, or chemical fertilizers ensuring you have the most natural product possible.
Giving Back
Here at S.D.L.A. we believe in the importance of giving back to the community and assisting those who lack basic necessities. To do our part in making a difference, we have pledged 10% of all revenue to be donated to our partner project: The RMU Foundation which uses the funds they raise to provide resources to the community like food and survival supplies for people experiencing homelessness, education, and employment/housing assistance.
SDLA runs on Solar Power!
It is important to use sustainable and regenerative forms of power, so we have added a solar power system to the roof of our house (farm) where we grow all the plants and seeds we sell! This way, the majority or all of our power is generated through solar panels depending on how much sun there is.
